rhythmicity + underworld journeys

exploring the Maiden's journey with cultural architect, Adriana Forte
Cross-post from A YEAR and A DAY
I am delighted to share this collaboration between Tracy and I. Tracy's spaces are created to be taken in slowly, gently, like a good and fragrant cup of herbal tea. I hope you gift yourself the time to read her words, listen to the story and then dive into our conversation. with love. -

As i write this we are moving into the New Moon in Taurus, and the giddy reality of spring in northern Wisconsin. The grass seems to be greening right before my eyes. To be enchanted by and engaging in the upswelling of spring is a gift of life and aliveness!

This New Moon brings a collaboration with cultural architect Adriana Forte and our emergent conversation exploring the medicine of the underworld, why underworld journeys matter in young women’s lives and other rhythmic realities. If you haven’t listened to the story Demeter & Persephone, shared earlier, it is the foundation for our conversation.

If you are new to A Year & a Day, welcome! Thank you for dropping in for this 13 month journey in praise and exploration of the seasons of women’s lives. Each month until April of 2026 i’ll share a story around the full moon and around the new moon, some ripe experimental collaborations iterating & emerging from that story.

Also if these posts hold meaning and value for you, please consider becoming a paid subscriber, supporting the energy & time that going into this offers.

Thank you for your bright listening!

Yours in the ongoing

Adriana Forte is a cultural architect, philosopher, and writer dedicated to bringing the cyclical nature of women’s minds into collective awareness. She aims to create spaces for provocative thinking, reflection and transformation through dialogue, writing, workshops, retreats, online group work, and one-on-one mentoring. Above all, she’s a mother to two amazing girls, a partner to an awesome guy, and an apprentice gardener living off-grid in a community in Australia.
