Last month, in the soft days of a new year.
From a semi-hibernated state in the boreal winter.
And at the edge of a chasm of global, political unknown…
My greatest desire (other than rest) was to connect with the many women/femme folx in my life. I wanted to connect with them, i wanted to hear their voices. I wanted to know….
what is your dream for us?
what is your dream for the whole & the parts?
what does your heart, your body, soul/spirit dream for us in these times?
I soaked in this desire, keeping it to myself, until the new moon and found it was even more juicy & alive with curiosity & wonder….and some urgency. Then, as that new moon in Aquarius appeared in the night sky I reached out to over twenty women inviting them to - tell me your dream for us.
Over the past few weeks audio files from all over the world found their way to me. Some women joined me for a zoom call and we recorded more dreams. Sometimes phones ran out of their charge as they recorded and dream spells, ceased mid sentence. Some dreams for the collective of us spun on into deeply personal dreams. Dreams can be tricksy like that.
The recording is mostly unedited with some gentle tlc from master sound engineer Tim Britton. Please listen and receive these dreams from a place of unconditional high regard for their tender vulnerability and their blazing power.
Some dreams found me in written form and one is below, as are the names of the women (in no particular order) who shared so generously.
I would love to hear your dream. Anyone can send me their dream!
Please send a 3-5 sentence or less email to: mydreamforus@mail.com
If you wish, let me know what part of the world you call home and if you’d like me to share your dream in a post, let me know your initials or if you wish to be credited as anonymous.

“My dream is for an end to the fascism that is rising, that is inflicting terror on so many vulnerable people.
Out of the work of the poems for the ancestors who were persecuted under the Scottish Witchcraft Act, I know I feel moved by how it feels to give voice to those who suffered. To remember them and learn from them. To experience their voices as immediate, directly connected to what is happening now.
So, perhaps the closest I can come to saying a specific dream right now is that desire to be found by the ancestors, by our women ancestors in particular, so that we can be present for them as needed. To be available to their energy for our own grounding and renewed commitment to doing our work to honor our earth, our bodies, our communities. To be resilient in the truths we learn through that grounding.”

May our dreams ripple, thunder & lightning out into the ongoing!
